If you are wondering where the enable or disable JavaScript option is in Mozilla Firefox, you’re not alone. Mozilla removed the option several versions ago but you can still toggle JavaScript on or off, and I will show you how in this guide.

Toggle JavaScript on or off in Mozilla Firefox (WIN)
- Open Firefox
- In the address bar, type about:config then press Enter on your keyboard
- Please note, if your version of Firefox was pre-installed on your machine or device, altering settings in this was may void your warranty
- Otherwise, click on the I’ll be careful, I promise! button to continue
- In the search bar, type javascript.enabled to find the preference option of the same name
- Right-click on the javascript.enabled option, then click on the Toggle menu item
- The Value column should now read as false, meaning JavaScript is disabled. A Value of true means JavaScript is enabled
- Restart Firefox then visit whatismyipaddress.ricmedia.com to confirm JavaScript status
- To enable JavaScript, follow the steps again and Toggle it’s Value to true
