May 25, 2015 By Richie 2 Comments

Sometimes, without even knowing how, everything in your web browser looks “too big“, or “zoomed“, well this is a common issue that comes about when a certain combination of keys and mouse controls happens (usually when kids or pets have come into contact with your computers, I have nephews and nieces :). Good news it’s really easy to fix and once you know how, controlling the zoom factor in your web browser can actually come in handy.

This guide will work for all browsers on Windows, Linux and MAC OS X.

Watch the video above or follow the text guide below.

Fix Web Browser Zoom/Magnification Issues

  1. Make sure your web browser window is selected/focused
  2. Move you mouse-pointer over the webpage
  3. Hold down the Ctrl key on your keyboard (bottom-left) OR
  4. MAC OS X hold down the Control key
  5. Now press the Zero “0” number key
  6. This will reset your browser zoom factor to 100%
  7. All done!
